This Morning as I sat down at my desk following a Season of Prayer in the Worship Center. I began to lay my Bible down on my desk, there was a little opening between the pages. Not giving a second thought about it I opened it to where the gap in the pages were. It opened to Daniel Chapter 10.My eyes immediately went to verse 10.
10 A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees.11 He said, “Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.
That was enough to get my attention and I continued to read through the rest of the Book.. From those verses on Daniel writes about the Endtimes. As I read the words of Daniel they were familiar because I had read them before and I just recently preached through the Book of Daniel .
So I asked myself, "What is here that I can learn?" What would God have me to know. I was very familiar with these verse because I had read them many times. What else was there for me to take notice of?
This got me to thinking about the subject of these verses The Endtimes." I had talked to people about them. I had conversations and answered questions about the Endtimes. I have commented on them , but to focus on them, well they just have never interested me. "No Endtimes for Me." My focus would be on evangelism and winning people to Christ.
Then the thought came to me, "does it really matter what I think?" The Endtimes are coming whether I preach on them or not. Oh, and lest we forget God has a plan running for the End of The World.
So the bottom line is, what Daniel wrote in his Book is the Truth. A person can deny it. Try to avoid it. Try to run from it, but the Endtimes are coming.
" While we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ." Titus 2:13.
The question for the Day is, are you ready for those times? If you have any doubts at all you need to come before the Lord Jesus, confess your sin, ask him for the forgiveness of those sins, repent of those sins and receive and believe in your heart that He died for your sins. Then make Him Lord of your life.
Always feel free to contact me.
Richard, I visited the church today to pay my respect to Olivia. I was late getting out of work, but found your wife and a small group of ladies in the kitchen preparing for a celebration lunch at 2 pm. God spoke to me through these ladies and I'm trying to balance the impact of their words. When I get the opportunity, I will reach out to you to discuss.
God is good. I'm prostrate and filled with awe brother. Please continue to pray for all sinners.
